  • Last UpdatedAug 13, 2024

The belt specification has five spec blocks:

  • Trough belts

  • Transition to trough belts

  • Flat belts

  • V belts

  • Transition to V belts

These blocks are shown in this image of the Structural Profiles Specification window:

Spec Block Rows displays Status, Generic Type, Name, Catalogue, and Default Material columns

The Generic Type column must refer to the same GTYP as in the catalog component SPRF.

The Name column holds the specification name, which is auto-generated using the Configure auto naming button. See the Specification documentation for more detail.

The Catalogue column shows the SPRF name. For example, the profile that is used for the belt section.

The Default Material column can hold a matref if required.

Important: The exact sizes of belt must be in each spec block. Otherwise, the user is prompted that there is an error in the catalog or specifications, which must be corrected.

Multiple belt widths might exist in the catalog but only the widths displayed in the specification are available to designers.
