Select Objects

Selects multiple objects for modification.

Click to identify an object for selection.

Alternatively, a box can be drawn to select multiple objects.

To create a box in which all objects completely enclosed are selected, click the draw canvas and move the cursor from left to right. Click to confirm the selection.

To create a box in which all objects fully or partially enclosed are selected, click the drawing canvas and move the cursor from right to left. Click to confirm the selection.

The Properties window allows you to define multiple selection mode or single selection mode. Refer to Properties for further information.

Select an object to display the grip points. Refer to Modify Objects using Grip Points for further information.

To deselect all selected objects, press ESC.

To deselect a single object, hold down Shift and either click it or draw a box round it.

Note:
If required, the application can be configured so that the you must hold down Shift to select additional objects. Refer to Object Selection and Object Snap Settings for further information.

Move Selected Objects

Moves a selected object.

Click to identify the object and drag the object to a new position.

Multiple objects are moved as a group. The currently selected object is moved to the identified position, the relative position of all other selected objects is maintained.
