Work Surface

The Work Surface allows the user to associate a work surface with the 3D view. A work surface can be used to trigger symbolic representation and automatically populate the 3D view from the settings in the work surface.

From the Work Surface Settings pane of the Graphic Settings Drawlist window, select from the list of available work surfaces to associate with the 3D view. If the symbolic representation state of the work surface is on, the models in the draw list appear with symbolic representation (if available for the model type). Refer to The Hull Design Tab and/or The Common Reference Tab for further information.

Click Apply to apply the settings, click Load to load from the option files stored at %AVEVA_DESIGN_USER%, click Save to save the settings to the option files or click Cancel to discard any changes and close the window.
