Grips are interactive controls that appear on elements in the 3D view. They allow you to move, rotate, or adjust geometry, including individual faces, edges, and points. They can be used for both broad transformations and precise edits.
Double-click a CRM entity, hull component, or functional arrangement once in the 3D view to display grips for translating or rotating the entire element:

Double-click again to display modelling grips, which can be used to modify faces, edges, and points:

Note: By default, interaction in the canvas occurs at the component level. For example, clicking a panel selects an individual component on that panel, rather than the entire panel. To change this behaviour, right-click inside the canvas to open the PowerWheel and select Navigation.
Non-physical components like holes or seams also have grips. Selection of these components is possible through functions found in the Visibility group on the Hull Design tab.

Grips are intended for single-element manipulation rather than grouped changes. To make changes to groups of elements, use the Properties window.
