Bracing to Beam Connection Node Tolerances

  • Last UpdatedNov 09, 2023
  • 1 minute read

If a bracing element connects to a beam element and is within the designated tolerance, the nodes are merged. In the example, the two bracing nodes are 50mm apart.

If the bracing in beam tolerance is set to 0mm, the nodes are not merged.

If the bracing in beam tolerance is set to 50mm, the two bracing nodes are merged to a central point between the two nodes.
