Orientation of View Contents

ADEG controls the orientation of the VIEW contents. The attribute has a default value of 0, and can be set to any angle. ADEG can be set directly or by using the TURN command, for example:

TURN 60

ADEG -120

A positive value results in an anticlockwise rotation.

Note that the degree of rotation produced is relative to an ADEG value of 0, not to the last value of ADEG.

Varying RCOD (rotation code) produces a similar effect to varying ADEG, except that the VIEW is rotated as well. RCOD can be set to UP, DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT, corresponding to the direction of the ‘top’ of the VIEW region relative to the top of the screen. Default is UP.
