Define Limits

Defines the limits of a 3D view.
The view limits are derived from the elements in the drawlist and display in the view. For example:

The limits display in the fields in the Define Limits group. For example:

Move Limits Box
Moves the limits box to a specified position.
Double click the limits box to display editor grips and select the cube grip.
You are prompted to Specify move point
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the limits box position.
The limits box is moved and the command ends automatically. By default, the limits fields are updated accordingly.

Modify Limits Box
Sets the size of the limits box along a single axis.
Double click the limits box to display editor grips and select a cone grip.
You are prompted to Specify absolute value or
Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter or click to identify the limits box position.
The limits box is modified and the command ends automatically. By default, the limits fields are updated accordingly.
Throughout the limits box modification process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Press the down arrow key and select Expand to scale the limits box. You are prompted to Specify expansion or Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter or click to identify the limits box position. The limits box is scaled and the command ends automatically. By default, the limits fields are updated accordingly. |
