Set up and Manage Plot File Export Settings

You can define multiple export configuration sets to store settings for the export of drawings to a plot file. You can add, modify, copy or delete export configuration sets.
On the Project tab, select Export Settings, select Export to Plot File from the Select Export Type drop-down list to display the Plot File Export Settings window.
The list of configuration sets displays the available export configuration sets. Select a configuration set to display the settings. Non-editable configuration sets are indicated with a Lock icon.
Many of the options available when exporting to a plot file are available when exporting to a DGN file or a PDF file (refer to Set up and Manage DGN Export Settings and Set up and Manage PDF Export Settings for further information), except the following options.

Use simple font |
In some cases, the application exports text as a series of multiple lines which can result in large export files. For example, when true type fonts are used.
Select the check box to export text using the most basic font type.

Scale Line Weight |
Text and graphics are exported as single lines.
Select the check box to export text and graphics using multiple lines to represent thickness.
