Flange Gaps

Sets the default flange gaps for framework supports.

The flange gaps functionality is only available when a support is created using the Build By Cursor method. Refer to Framework Tab for further information.

Note:
ID1 is the first member identified and ID2 is the second member identified (if applicable). Significant differences are applied to the structures that display in the examples. The positioning of the framework legs can be used with either the identified sections or gensecs geometry or the sections or gensecs origin.

The example displays the effect of selecting the members when both flanges are set to off (ID1 = Off, ID2 = Off).

The example displays the effect of selecting the left member first (ID1 = Inside, ID2 = Outside). ID1 and ID2 have the same settings.

The example displays the effect of selecting the right member first (ID1 = Inside, ID2 = Outside). ID1 and ID2 have the same settings.

The example displays the effect of selecting the left member first (ID1 = Inside, ID2 = Off). ID1 and ID2 have the same settings.

The example displays the effect of selecting the right member first (ID1 = Inside, ID2 = Off). ID1 and ID2 have the same settings.
