Add panel limits

This function adds panel limits to one or more panels.

On the Hull Design tab in the Limits group, select Add.
The option to select panels is activated.

In the 3D View, select the panels you want to add limits to.

Press the return key.
The option to select limits is activated.

(Optional) Press the down key to open the limit options menu.

Select Accept to confirm the selected limits.
Select Grid to add limits using an axis grid. X, Y, or Z axis can be selected from the options menu.
Select Plane to add limits by selecting existing panels.
Select Elements to add limits by selecting existing panels and model elements (default).
Select Last limit offset to enter an offset distance to the last selected limit.
Select Remove last to clear the last selected limit.

In the 3D View, select the elements you want to use as panel limit boundaries.
The selected elements are highlighted on the canvas.

To accept the limits selection, press enter.
If multiple regions can be cut, the option to select which panel part to keep is activated.

(Optional) In the 3D View, select the panel part you want to keep.
Limits are added to the panels.
