Piping Component (COMP; SCOM)

The attributes of a Piping Component are:

• PTREF - reference to a 3D Pointset element.

• GMREF - reference to a 3D Geomset element.

• PARAM - the component parameters, a list of values used in the 3D Pointset and 3D Geomset to define the Component.

• GTYPE - a word attribute indicating the generic type of the Piping Component, selected from the following:

  INSU	-	insulation

  PCOM	-	pipe component
  REDU	-	reducer
  SHU	-	standard hook-up
  TEE	-	fitting tee
  TRAC	-	tracing

The Generic Type (GTYPE) must be set as one of the above, otherwise a data consistency check on a Branch containing the Component (refer to Generic Type) will not work correctly.
