Modify Belt

In the Modify Belt window, you can modify:

• The angle of the carry belt.

• The angle of the return belt.

• The width of the belt.

• The thickness of the belt.

You make these modifications by selecting from predefined lists of values. Which values are available is determined by catalog rules.

Modify Belt Angle

1. On the Mining tab, in the Modify group, select Belt to display the Modify Belt window, with the Angle tab selected.

   

2. From the Belt dropdown list, select Carry or Return to take-up.

3. From the Angles dropdown list, select the required angle.
   You can change the return belt from V to Flat or from Flat to V, as well as changing the angle.

4. Select Apply.
   The angles of the belt are updated. If affected, the dimensions of any associated fixings are updated.

Modify Belt Width

5. Select the Width tab.

   

6. From the Width dropdown list, select the required width.

7. Select Apply.
   The width of the belt is updated, If affected, the dimensions of any associated fixings are updated.

Modify Belt Thickness

8. Select the Thickness tab.

   

9. From the Thickness dropdown list, select the required thickness.

10. Select Apply.
    The thickness of the belt is updated. If affected, the dimensions of any associated fixings are updated.
