MAP CHECK

Description

The user can check one or more of the spatial maps to make sure that they accurately reflect the current state of the design. To avoid spurious results, it is advisable to do this before carrying out a clash check. This is particularly important if the geometry of any geometry elements has been modified.

Examples

MAP CHECK MDB

Checks the spatial maps for all Model Databases (DBS) within the current Multiple Database (MDB) against the current design and Catalog data. If there are any discrepancies, appropriate messages are output; the user should then rebuild the map (refer to Creating or Updating Spatial Maps)

MAP CHECK PIPES/AREA1

Checks the up-to-date status of the spatial map for the named Model DB only.
