Change Shrinkage Compensation using the Properties grid

Prerequisite

• For example, Create automatic Shrinkage Compensation on a plate.

If you want to modify the shrinkage compensation values set for the panel, you can use the Properties grid.

1. In the Model Explorer, select the DSHRNK item.

   

2. On the Home tab in the Display group, select Properties to display the Properties grid.

   

3. Select the Automatic Comp Calc property to display the dropdown arrow.

   

4. Select False to display further properties.

   

5. Select the Along Main Direction property so that the dropdown arrow becomes available.

   

6. In the dropdown list, select Distance.

7. For Distance Factor, enter the value 500.

8. For Partition, enter 0.5.

9. Press Enter.

   The application changes the Shrinkage properties accordingly, so that for each 500 mm distance 0.5 mm is added once.
