Create Permissible Specifications

Select a Spec Type (Pipe, Insulation or Tracing)

Right click and select Create New.

Enter a Name for the Permissible Specifications.

Enter a Description for the permissible specifications.

On the left are all the specifications available in all of the catalog databases, select the specifications then add to the Permissible Spec pane of the Permissible Piping Specifications Manager window.

Note: If required right click in the Specifications pane of the Permissible Piping Specification Manager window, to navigate to the selected specification in the Catalog Explorer or export the selected specification to Excel.

Note: If there are multiple permissible specifications created in a project, AVEVA E3D Design will only look at the first preferred specification world in the project database (not the others found).
