A TEXT element is used to store additional information about an owning or adjacent element. The text string itself exists as the setting of the STEX attribute of the TEXT, and can be up to 120 characters long. It is set in the usual way; for example

Note that the STEX attribute of a TEXT element is completely independent of the STEX attributes of the Detailing Text (SDTE) elements described in Detailing Text. The TEXT element can occupy many positions in the hierarchy - it can be owned by UNIT, CATA, SECT, CATE, STSE, STCA, CCTA, SPEC, BLTA, BLIS, LTAB or MBLI elements.
