Create Work Pack

Creates a work pack database element.

A work pack element represents a logical and manageable division of work within its owning work area or pack and can own a number of work area elements.

Use the Create Work Pack window to name and define the general attributes of the work pack.

Name/Autoname

Select Name from the drop-down list to input the name of the work pack element or select Autoname to use the autonaming rules.

Note:
Autonaming rules can make use of the work pack type and discipline attribute values.

Work Pack Type

Specifies the work pack type.

Discipline

Specifies the work pack discipline.

Attributes

Displays the Attributes window, general attribute values can be defined.

The new WKPACK element displays in the Model Explorer and the Modify Work Pack window displays.
