Destination

Defines the location of the imported dxf or dwg file, the file is imported into the AVEVA E3D Design Model hierarchy:

Enter the owning element (under which all elements will be imported) or highlight the owning element in the Model Explorer and click CE.

The specified owning element must be an element that can own an Aid Group (AIDGRO) element. For example:

• Zone (ZONE)

• Site (SITE)

• Equipment (EQUIPMENT)

• Framework (FRMWORK)

• Structure (STRUCTURE)

• Substructure (SUBSTRUCTURE)

Once the destination data has been correctly defined, click Next to proceed to the Logging part of the DXF/DWG Import window.
