Create Terrain Model

The Terrain Model (TRNMOD) is the physical clash-able element created under a Zone and generated from a Terrain definition.

Optionally, a grid may be referenced. If a grid is referenced, the terrain model will be divided into cells using the unrestricted planes of the referenced grid as dividing planes, otherwise only one cell is generated.

Definition

Displays the name of the definition being worked on.

Name

If autonaming is enabled, the suggested name can be accepted by clicking OK or a new name can be typed and then applied by clicking OK.

Zone

Any existing zone can be used.

The name of the zone can be typed or selected in the hierarchy and set by clicking Set Zone from Current Element .

Grid

Add a grid from the drop down list containing all the grids found in the current MDB.

Note:
Adding a grid is optional.
