Connect Sections

Connects the ends of two or more straight or curved sections.

You are prompted to Pick section

Click to identify the owning section to connect.

You are then prompted to Pick section end(s) or <Finish>

Click to identify the attached section to connect at the end nearest to the connection point.

The prompt is repeated, allowing you to create multiple connections.

Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command. The sections are connected and the connection status displays in the 3D view.

Throughout the section connection process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

The new JLDATU, PLDATU and FIXING elements are added to the owning section and display in the Model Explorer.

If a connection cannot be made, a Warning message displays on the status bar.
