Create 2D Flat Section Plane

Creates a section plane; in which only two points are selected to define a single straight line across a view to specify an area. The part of the view within this area is removed.
You are prompted to Specify a point or
Input F at the prompt and press Enter.
You are then prompted to Specify a point or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the first point to define the excluded area. The shaded area indicates the area to be removed from the view.
You are again prompted to Specify a point or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the second point to define the excluded area. The command ends automatically and the shaded area is removed from the view.
Throughout the section plane creation process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Perpendicular |
Press the down arrow key and select Perpendicular to create a perpendicular section plane. Refer to Create 2D Perpendicular Section Plane view for further information. |

Stepped |
Press the down arrow key and select Stepped to create a stepped section plane. Refer to Create 2D Stepped Section Plane for further information. |

View |
Press the down arrow key and select View to create a section plane using a specified view projection. Refer to Create Section Plane on View Projection for further information. |

Horizontal |
Press the down arrow key and select Horizontal to define a horizontal area to be removed from the view. |
|
Vertical |
Press the down arrow key and select Vertical to define a vertical area to be removed from the view. |
|
Angle |
Press the down arrow key and select Angle to specify an angle to define the area to be removed from the view. |
|
Side |
Press the down arrow key and select Side to define which side of the section plane displays in the view. A shaded area indicates the side of the section plane that an area of the view is removed from. |

Back |
Press the down arrow key and select Back to undo the last action. |
