Define stiffener parameters using Properties grid

Prerequisite

• Create stiffener at plane using grid.

Use the Stiffener Parameter window to to define required stiffener parameters (stiffener type, geometry data). You can access the Stiffener Parameter window from the Properties grid.

1. In the 3D View, select the stiffener.

2. On the Home tab, in the Display group, select Properties, the Properties grid appears.

   

3. In the Properties grid, select in the Designation line.

4. Select the ... icon, the Stiffener Designation window appears.

   

5. Select Angle bar (equal ...).

6. Enter the required parameters, for example, 350 (mm) for a, 250 for b and 25 for s.

   The application populates the Designation box with the appropriate parameter code and recreates the stiffener accordingly.
