Multiple Slopes

  • Last UpdatedFeb 14, 2025

Multiple sloped components allow all ppoints to have offset tolerances set, thus allowing slopes in any direction. Multiple slopes mainly allow three way components to be placed at a high or low point and allow different in and out slopes. To enable this, the arrive and leave ppoints on the tee have their offset tolerance set.

To select an individual ppoint on a component for both orientation and direction change, select the Multi Slope check box to display the Current Point drop down list.

If the Current Point is fixed as shown above, this means the particular point does not have an offset tolerance so it can be orientated but the ppoint direction cannot be changed.

Component Orientation

Use to orientate an individual component around a selected ppoint.

Point Direction

Use to evaluate all the ppoints on the currently selected component to see if they are available for orientation and directing.

If the ppoints are fixed, an Error window is displayed.
