Creates the idealized model. Functionality is available to modify the idealized model prior to export to an STD file.

Continue with Export
Select the check box to automatically export the idealized model to an STD file if no errors are found when the idealized model is created.
Deselect the check box to omit the export of the idealized model to an STD file when the idealized model is created.
If errors are detected during creation of the idealized model, a Confirm window displays, asking to confirm the creation of the STD file.

A Message window displays, indicating that the STD file has been created.

Create Idealized Model
Creates the idealized model. The idealized model displays in the 3D view. The functionality on the bottom part of the SAI Export Form becomes active and any detected errors display by element and export error.

Show Simplification Form
Structural simplification can be used to substitute a complex structure with an equivalent GENSEC of similar rigidity and strength. Refer to Structural Simplification for further information.
Split IPANE
Idealized Pane (IPANE) elements must be split into three or four node elements in Staad Pro. The Split IPANE functionality enables the preparation of IPANE elements for Staad Pro. Refer to Split Idealized Panel Elements for further information.
Graphical Aids
Select the Inodes radio button and click Display to display the graphical aids for INODE elements in the 3D view.

Select the Isects radio button and click Display to display the graphical aids for ISECT elements in the 3D view.

Select the Ipanes radio button and click Display to display the graphical aids for IPANE elements in the 3D view.

Click Clear to remove the graphical aids from the 3D view.
Export Idealized Model
Exports the idealized model to an STD file.
Undo Idealized Export Model Creation
Undoes the creation of the idealized model. You are returned to the Source part of the SAI Export Form window, all previous export idealized model actions are removed.
