Search Output Functionality

Attribute columns can be created, modified and deleted with the column settings function. To access this function, right-click on a column heading row and select Column Setup from the drop-down menu to display the Column Setup window.

Click Add Standard Attributes to add all of the standard attributes for the current element.

The Visible column allows you to choose which columns to display or hide. Select the required check boxes to display the columns in the grid.

Using this window, you can and add/delete columns and modify the column order.

Note:
Modifications to the column order are not displayed until a new search is initiated.

Clear the Search Results

The data in the Search Results table can be cleared. To access this function, right-click on a column heading row and select Clear Grid from the drop-down menu.

Search Results Settings

  • Enable Column Sort

  • Display Column Summaries

  • Enable Group Sorting

  • Enable Filtering

  • Suppress Unset Values

  • Suppress Nulref Values

Find and Replace

Enables you to find and search specific elements within the search results table.

Refresh Grid

All cell values are refreshed from the data source. The option refreshes the results table if the data source and the displayed information are not synchronised.

Quick Report

Enables you to create reports with basic formatting.

Export to Excel

Enables the search results to be saved to an Excel file.

Print Preview

Enables the search results to be previewed in a Print Preview window and printed.

Row Selection Menus

The row selection menus are module dependent.

Drag & Drop

Selected rows can be dragged and dropped into an appropriate drag target. For example, the 3D view.

Adding to My Collections

Selected rows in the search results can be added to My Collections by drag and drop or through the appropriate menu option.
