Moving by a Known Distance

All the commands described in this section move the Current Element (CE) by a specified distance in a given direction. The simplest method is to move from the present position along an axis direction using a command such as BY EAST 1000. However, the command options provided enable more complex maneuvers to be made. For instance, an element may be moved ‘towards’ another item until its Easting has changed by a given amount.
