The Miscellaneous tab on the Department Attributes window allows you to define a number of department attributes.

Null Text |
When it is not possible to extract data from an attribute, the intelligent text system returns an error and (by default) substitutes the text ‘---’ for the missing data. The NTEXT attribute allows you to substitute their own ‘null text’. For example: NTEXT ’No data’ |

Date Format |
Allows you to set the date format by selecting an option from the drop-down list. |

Dimension Terminator |
Allows you to define the dimension terminator by selecting an option from the drop-down list. |

Leader Terminator |
Allows you to define the leader terminator by selecting an option from the drop-down list. |

Ruleset Reference |
Allows you to select a default rule set reference from the drop-down list. |
|
Hatching Ruleset Reference |
Allows you to select a default hatching rule set reference from the drop-down list. |
Click Reset to revert to the values applied when the Department Attributes window was opened.
Click Apply to modify the department attributes or Cancel to discard any changes and close the Department Attributes window.
