Grid Storage

Sets the structure and grid plane that sections and panels are associated with.

The Structures and Grid Plane drop-down lists are populated with the association properties of the currently selected section or panel.

Structures

Displays the name of the STRU element that is associated with the currently selected section or panel.

Select from the drop down list to identify an alternative STRU.

Grid Plane

Displays the name of the grid plane that is associated with the currently selected section or panel.

Select from the drop-down list to identify an alternative grid plane.

Grid Plane Selection

Select Lock from the drop-down list to prevent grid storage area modification. The Structure and Grid Plane drop-down lists become inactive.

Select Unlock from the drop-down list to allow grid storage area modification. The Structure and Grid Plane drop-down lists become active.

If a section or panel is moved, the associated grid storage area is updated to reflect the new grid plane.

If a section or panel is copied, the associated grid storage area is updated to reflect the new grid plane.

If multiple sections or panels are moved or copied and one of the grid storage areas is locked, the moved/new sections/panels are all associated with the locked grid storage area.
