The access rights of the current user inside the Part Manager are defined by Data Access Control (DAC). In the Admin application, using the DAC, the adminitrator can define that a user is not able to modify the part geometry. In this case, it is required to disallow attribute EDTATT for MPLATEs. If you select Inspect or Inspect and Edit on a selected part, the application creates an 2D view of the selected part. This allows you to select available part features like holes, markings and bevels or to perform the creation of part features from the Part Editor tab.
You can show detailed information of a selected part in the property grid. If you are allowed to edit the part, several editing functions are available to modify the existing part features in the property grid. For more information, see: |
