Import CSV File Format

The columns in the import csv files must be as follows:

• Name

• Type (Element Type)

• Owner (only applicable to branches)

• Temp (Temperature)

• Bore (Bore Diameter)

• Pspec (Pipe Specification)

• Href (Head reference of the branch, where applicable)

• Tref (Tail reference of the branch, where applicable)

• HrefQualifier (Head Reference Qualifier - optional)

• TrefQualifier (Tail Reference Qualifier - optional)

The Head Reference Qualifier and Tail Reference Qualifier are values associated with the head and tail references of a branch, for example P3 of TEE, or TAIL of a branch. The associated elements are the Href and Tref on the same row. They are used specify which specific point of the head/tail reference on the imported branch is to be connected to, and prevent system from picking the wrong unconnected end of the connected reference in cases where there is more than one unconnected end.

If a value is not specified, the import mechanism will look for the first unconnected end of the Href or Tref.
