Export System Defaults

Exports system default configurations to an XML file.

The following configuration sets can be exported:

• Project

• MDB

• Group

For the purposes of this guide, the export of an MDB level configuration is described.

1. Launch Draw with any MDB.

2. On the Admin tab, in the Settings group, click System Defaults to display the System Defaults window.

3. Select the MDB configuration set.

4. Select the required MDB level configuration. Multiple MDB level configurations can be exported.

   

5. Select Export.

   Alternatively, right-click the selected MDB level configuration to display the drop-down menu:

   

   A message window displays, indicating the MDB level configuration to be exported.

   

6. Select Yes to display the Save Configuration file window.

   

7. Enter a filename and navigate to the folder location for the exported file.

8. Select Save to export the MDB level configuration to an XML file. The XML file can be modified using an XML editor application.

   Note:
   Configuration database changes are applied immediately but require a save work once the System Defaults window is closed.
