Mining catalogs and specifications

Mining creates conveyor belts from GENSECs. This enables the shape of the belt to be extruded along a linear or curved SPINE. FIXING elements are created along the length of the belt to represent the idlers that support the belt. You can use standard modeling commands such as CIE to move fixing elements.
The use of GENSECs requires you to create a catalog of standard profiles (SPRF elements) for the belts and a catalog of standard fittings (SFIT elements) for the idlers.
A sample set of belts and idlers, in metric and imperial, is available in the ACP project. Use these as templates for your own project requirements.
You create the catalog elements in the Structures discipline in Paragon.
These sections explain the settings required to set up the catalog and specifications for Mining.
