Routing to/from an unconnected head/tail

Select head/tail of branch

You can pick an unconnected head/tail of an existing branch, in addition to unconnected ends of pipe components and equipment nozzles.

1. In Start / End Positions select the + button.

   

2. Hover on the arrow to select a branch.

   Note:
   Do not select the pipe components within the branch.

   

   An extra prompt is generated if the head or tail are unconnected

3. Select either the head or tail of the branch.

4. Select a head or a tail. For example, if you select the head of the branch, The application stores the entry and displays a label to say that it is successful.
