Movement Handle

Before A Drag

The following options are available on the Movement Handle before a drag:

Enter Offset

Displays the Constrained Move window which allows you to enter an offset from the current handle’s position along the segment of route the handle is within.

Clicking Preview allows you to see the proposed change in the graphical view. Click OK to accept the move or Cancel to close the window without moving the element.

Enter Distance From >

Leave

Displays the Distance From Leave window which allows

Clicking Preview allows you to see the proposed change in the graphical view. Click OK to accept the move or Cancel to close the window without moving the element.

Origin

Displays the Distance From Origin window which allows

Clicking Preview allows you to see the proposed change in the graphical view. Click OK to accept the move or Cancel to close the window without moving the element.

Direction Change

Displays the Distance From Direction window which allows

Clicking Preview allows you to see the proposed change in the graphical view. Click OK to accept the move or Cancel to close the window without moving the element.

Align

Align with Feature

Allows you to use the pointer to identify features with which to align the selected Component with, along the leg of the route

Offset from Feature

Connect

Move Handle >

End of Selection

Repositions the handle to the start of the selected Components.

Opposite End of Selection

Repositions the handle to the end of the selected Components.

Distance Feedback >

From Leave

Displays sub-menus allowing you to choose the feedback given relative to a (context-dependent) point selectable from a submenu when the selection is move

From Origin

From Direction change

From Current Position

Show True Length

Show Orthogonal Length

Cancel

Returns the handle and selection to its original state before the drag
