Backing Sheet Graphical Note

A symbol or a logo can be inserted as a graphical note on the backing sheet.

To create a graphical note, you must create a symbol library element to store an existing symbol template. Refer to Create Symbol Library for further information.

Symbol template elements are used to store graphics that are commonly used in pipe sketches. Refer to for Create Symbol Template further information.

For example, the AVEVA company logo can be added as a Symbol Template (SYTM) below a Symbol Library (SYLB).

The symbol or logo can then be added to the backing sheet note element by referencing the symbol template element. Refer to Add Symbols to Drawings for further information.

The backing sheet symbol displays on the drawing canvas.

The new SYMB element displays in the Draw Explorer.
