The Model Reference Manual describes all the Model commands in detail. It also describes how the Design database is structured.
Model is normally used interactively. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides discipline-based applications which help the user to create, check and report on the model. How to use the applications are described in user guides.
The manual is written for experienced users of Model who need to use commands; for example, to write batch macros or to customise the GUI. If customizing the GUI, the user will also need to refer to Customizing a Graphical User Interface and Summary of Objects, Members and Methods for information about Programmable Macro Language (PML), the AVEVA programming language.
