Hanger

Creates a hanger support.

The standard Supports application for hangers allows you to create fixed and variable pipe hangers. The application is interactive and configurable, and simplifies:

• Definition of project related defaults

• Control of hanger design

• Determination of range, types, and configuration of hanger components that can be used on the project.

Hangers are designed using the hanger components catalogue of a given supplier and are template-driven.

The available hanger types can contain three prefix characters:

• T (Top)

• M (Middle)

• B (Bottom).

For example, a T1 M2 B4 hanger has a T1 type top connection, M2 type middle connection, and a B4 type pipe connection.
