This function imports geometry models from a variety of different types of files. Currently, the following formats are supported:

STEP 203 format
-
SAT format
-
IGES format
-
XBA format
-
DML format (native format for Initial Design Hull Forms)
Models are imported by clicking on the command Import from File and then selecting one or more files to be imported.
