The defaults are stored using multiple tabs.

Many of the defaults point to Draw libraries.

To change any of these, either type the new element name into the text box, or click Browse and navigate to the required element and select it using the relevant Select window.
Note:
Invalid element names only give a warning, rather than an error, as it is possible
to make MDB level changes to the configuration for any MDB. This is because the element
may be valid in the MDB to which it is targeted even though it does not exist in the
current MDB. It is the responsibility of the administrator to make sure that an entered
element is valid in the MDBs that the configuration is targeted at.
If an invalid element name is entered, a warning displays summarizing the problem.

The field which contains the invalid element name, and the associated tab, are highlighted.

Reset |
Reverts the specified default to the default value. |
|
Modification level |
If the default has not been modified, the display is blank. If the default is modified, the modification level is displayed. P - Project configuration level M - MDB configuration level G - Group level U - User level. This functionality is only available when using the User Defaults window. |
Note:
The library reference defaults also display on the User Defaults window. On the Tools tab, in the Defaults group, click User Defaults. Refer to Modify User Defaults for further information. The User Defaults window is initialized with the settings from the System Defaults window after the defaults have been loaded from file. Subsequent changes made on
the User Defaults window override, but do not change the settings on the System Defaults window, allowing a user some flexibility in the use of available libraries during
drawing production.
Name Delimiters
By default, the individual parts of drawing element names are separated by a slash delimiting character. For example:
SHEETS/SHLB1/BACK1/SN1
The name delimiters allow you to specify any other delimiter character which has been used for style names, label library names and drawlist library names.
Legacy Import
Select a configuration level to be imported to from an existing dra-gen-system or dra-gen-system.imp file. Start with the project level first, then any MDB level configurations, then any group level configurations. This is recommended as the project level supplies defaults to the levels above, default values at a particular level are only set if they are different from the level below.
Select Import and select Legacy Import from the drop-down menu to select the appropriate dra-gen-system or dra-gen-system.imp file from the file system. This applies the contents of the file to the current configuration, which can be edited further, if required. Refer to Migrate System Default Files to the Configuration Database for further information.
Configs Import
Select Import and select Configs Import from the drop-down menu to import system default configurations from an XML file. Refer to Import System Defaults for further information.
Export
Select Export to export system default configurations to an XML file. Refer to Export System Defaults for further information.
Close
If the defaults are modified, the Savework window displays.
