Extruded Surface

Creates an extruded surface from a selected planar curve. The surface is extruded in the direction of the normal curve of the plane by a specified distance.

In the Create group, select the Extruded Surface icon. Select a curve when prompted. After selection, enter the extrusion distance.

If the curve is a polyline, the resulting surface is an editable PFACE. For all other curve types, the resulting surface is an editable SCSURF.

Note: In the interactive view, the extrusion direction is limited to the X, Y or Z axis. It will be on the axis closest to the actual extrusion direction.
