Position and Populate Spool Drawing Template

The drawing template can be considered as the view creation mechanism for the pipe spool drawing.

Functionality is available to position and define information that is displayed on a spool drawing template.

To create a spool drawing template, you must create a drawing element to store the template sheet information. Refer to Create Drawing from Drawing Type and Template for further information.

The sheet element below the drawing element contains the views that belong to the template.

The SpPurpose and Function attributes of the views are important for the template to function correctly.

The DRWG, SHEE and VIEW elements display containing LAYE elements.
