Profile Mapping Files

This section describes the formats for the mapping files between catalogues and those of external 3D steel detailing packages. The mapping files will indicate a correlation between the profile in AVEVA E3D 2.1™ and its equivalent in the other system, to which, or from which, data are to be transferred. It is your responsibility to make sure that any geometrical modelling required in either system is suitably reproduced in the other. The mapping files supplied are modifiable and extensible by you.
