Object Selection and Object Snap Settings

Sets the default object selection, object snap, dynamic hint and anti aliasing options.

Selection Settings
Allows you to define the way in which objects are selected.

Pickbox Size |
Move the slider to define the display size of the pick box. |
|
Grip Size |
Move the slider to define the display size of the grip. |
|
Max number of Grips |
Input a value in the field to specify the maximum number of grips that can display simultaneously. |

Single selection mode |
Select the check box to specify that holding down Shift adds or removes selected objects. |
Object Snap Settings
Allows you to define the snap marker size and aperture box size. Functionality is also available to specify the Grid Settings and Object Snap settings.

Snap Marker SIze |
Move the slider to define the size of the snap marker. |

Aperture Box Size |
Move the slider to define the size of the aperture box. |

Display snap aperuture box |
Select the check box to draw the snap aperture box while specifying coordinates with the mouse. |

Advanced |
Allows you to specify the Object Snap settings and Grid settings. Refer to Object Snaps and Grid Settings for further information. |
Dynamic Hints Settings
Select the Animate dynamic hints check box to display hints with full opacity only when the you are not active (for example, you are not moving the mouse).
De-select the Animate dynamic hints check box to display hints at all times, regardless of your activity.
Anti-aliasing
Select the Anti-aliasing check box to turn on anti-aliasing.
Context Editor Precision
Specifies the number of decimal characters displayed on the context editor. The default value is 0.
In the example, the Decimal precision is 2 which displays two decimal characters on the context editor.

Click Reset to restore the default configuration settings. Refer to Reset Configuration for further information.
Click Apply to update the selected settings.
