With a Pipe or Component selected in the 3D view, on the Piping tab, in the Integrator group, select Compare to display the Integrator Results window.
Alternatively, right-click on a Pipe or Component in the Model Explorer and select Compare against P&ID (Engineering) from the dropdown menu to display the Integrator Results window.

The comparison results are dependent on the Integrator Configuration. The current element is matched to the equivalent P&ID element. The mapped attributes are compared and discrepancies are displayed.
The Integrator Results window consists of three tabs - Pipe, Components, and Issues.

Pipe tab
The Pipe tab displays the results of comparisons between pipe elements and the piping network system.

Components tab
The Components tab displays the data comparison results of the components in the piping network system.

Issues
The Issues tab displays data discrepancies such as duplicate matches from the Pipe and Components tabs. Each discrepancy displays an explanation of the cause and reasons, for example, V102 has duplicate names in P&ID.

Comparison data structure
Pipe and Components tabs
The Pipe and Component tabs present comparison data in a data grid, enabling side by side identification of attribute differences. The grid includes the following columns:

Select - A checkbox for update and auto zoom.
E3D name – Name of the element.
E3D attribute – Attribute of the element.
E3D value – Attribute value of the element.
P&ID name – Name of the Engineering (P&ID) element.
P&ID attribute – Attribute of the the Engineering (P&ID) element.
P&ID value – Attribute value of the Engineering (P&ID) element.
Engineering status - Displays the status of the element from its attribute.
Issues tab
The Issues tab displays duplicate matched items in a collapsible grid control. Multiple matched Engineering (P&ID) items appear as child rows under each element. The data is presented according to the following columns:

E3D name - Name of the element.
E3D attribute- Attribute of the element.
E3D value- Attribute value of the element.
P&ID attribute-Attribute of the the Engineering (P&ID) element.
P&ID value- Attribute value of the Engineering (P&ID) element .
The child grids can be expanded or collapsed using the +/- toggle buttons.
Comparison Data Highlighting
The Integrator Results window highlights attribute differences in color. For example, differences in PSPE and TEMP for the AVEVA E3D Design element /150-B-59 are shown in the E3D value column compared to the P&ID value column.

Workflow for Issues tab
When matching design elements with Engineering data, differences may occur with multiple Engineering items matching a single design element.
The outcome is a result of the configuration settings used for matching.

Workflow for update operation
Differences in attribute values can be updated in the Integrator Results window by selecting the Allow Update checkbox.

If the Allow Update checkbox is not selected, the attribute is not updated and a prompt displays.

General Update operation
Select a checkbox to update a difference in the results grid and then select Update selected attributes. This updates the selected attributes and refreshes the window with the updated comparisons.

Note:
Multiple attributes can be selected in the Allow update column.
Update Scenarios
When updating general attributes, for example, Bore or Spec related, changes are applied. If there are no issues. The application displays information that an update has happened.

If Bore and Spec related attributes on a Pipe are updated, for example, BORE, PSPE, ISPE, TSPE, the application displays a prompt. If you select Yes, the attributes are updated. If you select No, there is no update.

If you select update for a P&ID attribute without providing a value, the update does not occur and a prompt displays.
I
If you select a P&ID attribute value and Allow update is not available. It does not update and a prompt displays.

If you select update on a claimed element, it does not update and a prompt displays indicating that the element is already claimed.
Related Functionalities
Show all attributes
The Show all attributes at the top of the grid in both the Pipe and Components tabs controls which comparison rows are displayed.
If Show all attributes is not selected it displays only attributes with differences.
If Show all attributes is selected, it displays all attribute differences and matches comparisons.

Auto-zoom to selected 3D design elements
To zoom-in and highlight in 3D view select Auto-zoom to selection.

Note:
For zoom-in to function properly, the selected design element(s) must be placed on
the 3D view.
Re-do / refresh the results
Select Re-do compare to display the updated comparison results in the grid.

Component Mapping Results
When you configure component mappings in the Advanced tab of Integrator Configuration, the Integrator Results window shows whether comparisons follow those mappings. If not, the Act Type row is highlighted to indicate a difference.
