Create panel defining limits by stiffener and by plane

Prerequisite
You can create a plate size by defining limits. In this example, you use a stiffener and three planes to define the limits.

On the Hull Design tab in the Create group, select Panel to display the grids in 3D View.

Press Down Arrow to display the available options.

Select X to display the grids in x direction.

In the prompt, enter the grid name in which you have created the stiffener, in Create stiffener at plane using grid, FR138.

Press Enter.

Press Down Arrow to display the available options.

Select A for Accept to display the

Select the stiffener to define the stiffener as a limit.

The 3D view displays the limit with a line and with a limit text. In this example, the stiffener hides the line.

Press Down Arrow to display the available options.

Select P for Plane.

Enter a limit value in mm, for example, 10000.

Press Return.

Enter a limit value in mm, for example, -10000.

Press Return.

The 3D view displays the limits with lines and with limit text.

Enter Z.
-
Press Enter to enable a limit in Z direction.

Enter a limit value in mm, for example, 8000.

Press Down Arrow. to display the available options.

Select A for Accept.
The application creates the panel with the four specified limits.

You can now Add overlap to panel limit using Properties grid.
