Use the functionality to automatically split or divide a rectangular duct into multiple branches and create the new BRCO and BRAN database elements.

BRCO elements are created with a default length of 0. Connected Branches are indicated by the dotted lines which enables the branch to be selected graphically, where a new element can be then be created.

Note:
This functionality is only available for rectangular HVAC elements. If at a branch member then the CE will be the branch. The following error message is displayed if the CE is not an rectangular HVAC element.

Note:
Individual BRCO elements can be modified using Modify CE functionality.

HVAC Branch

The CE must be a branch and it must have a last member (rectangular element). If the CE is not a branch element then the following message is displayed.
