Modify Conveyor

There are many modifications that can be made to different parts of the conveyor after it has been built. The conveyor is split into several SUBCNVs and automatically named based on the customer's naming rules. Each SUBCNV has a PURP attribute automatically set on creation as follows:

Description

PURP Attribute

Example Name

Carry Belts

CCAR

/CV_0001/BELT/CARRY

Head Pulley Belts

CHEA

/CV_0001/BELT/HEAD

To Take-up Belts

CTOT

/CV_0001/BELT/TOTAKEUP

Take-up Belts

CTAK

/CV_0001/BELT/TAKEUP

From Take-up Belts

CFRT

/CV_0001/BELT/FROMTOTAKEUP

Tail Pulley Belts

CTAI

/CV_0001/BELT/TAIL

Each belt is also numbered in sequence. The user should not change the purposes of the SUBCNV elements or the number attribute of the GENSEC that represents the belt, as the application relies on these settings to know which belts are to be modified.

The complete belt is represented by a number of GENSECs from the start of the carry belt to the tail pulley belts. Each one has a POSS (Start Position) at the beginning of the belt section, and a POSE (End Position) at the end of the belt section.

Note:
There is one important exception to this. When transitioning at the start from flat to a trough or V belt, the POSS and POSE are swapped so that the transition piece is correctly represented.
