Modify snub pulley

Use this procedure to modify the position, diameter, or type of an existing snub pulley.

Prerequisites

A snub pulley must already exist as part of the conveyor.

Steps

1. Select the snub pulley you want to modify.

2. On the Mining tab, in the Modify group, select Pulley and select Snub Pulley from the dropdown list to display the Modify Snub Pulley window.

   

3. Use the following tabs to make changes:

   1. Move

      1. Select To Head to move the pulley toward the head pulley by the distance in the Move Distance field.

      2. Select Up to move the pulley upward by the entered distance.

      3. Select To Tail to move the pulley toward the tail pulley by the specified distance.

      4. Select Down to move the pulley downward by the entered distance.

         Note: When modifying the snub pulley in the Up or Down direction, select Fix to First Idler and Adjust to take-up belts to lock the return idler positions.

   2. Diameter
      Enter the new diameter value.

   3. Type
      Select the pulley type from the available catalogue options.

4. Select Apply.
   The changes are saved.
