Layers
Each created Aid Group (AIDGRO) element has a limit of 200 Aid Line (AIDLIN), Aid Arc (AIDARC) and Aid Text (AIDTEX) elements. When an AIDGRO element reaches the limit, a new AIDGRO element is created. Functionality is available to name and group the AIDGRO elements using the respective layers from the source dxf or dwg file.

Group by layer |
The AIDGRO elements include the drawing name and respective layer name from the source dxf or dwg file upon import. |
|
Include layers that are Off |
If the check box is selected, layers that are Off in the source dxf or dwg file are imported. If the check box is not selected, layers that are Off in the source dxf or dwg file are not imported. |
Click Import to import the drawing.

The new AIDGRO, AIDLIN, AIDARC and AIDTEX elements display in the Model Explorer.
