Add and Remove Model Items to/from the 3D View

Adds an item to the 3D view or removes an item from the 3D view.

To add an item to a 3D view, select the item in the Model Explorer and drag it into the 3D view.

Alternatively, select the item in the Model Explorer, right-click and select 3D View, select Add, Add Connected or Add Within Volume from the drop-down menu.

Alternatively, an item can be added to the 3D view using the Format 3D tab. Refer to Format 3D Tab for further information.

To delete an item from a 3D view, select the item in 3D view, right-click and select Remove from 3D View from the drop-down menu.

Alternatively, select the item in the Model Explorer, right-click and select 3D View, select Remove from the drop-down menu.

Alternatively, an item can be removed from the 3D view using the Format 3D tab. Refer to Format 3D Tab Tab for further information.

Alternatively, an item can be removed form the 3D view using the View Contents window. Refer to View Contents for further information.

Note:
Any modifications made to the 3D view using the Command Window (ADD or REM) are not added to the Draw Idlist. Modifications made in this way are lost when the 3D view is closed.
